Historical Significance
Harry Davis was one of the most accomplished first basemen of baseball's early years. A key member of Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics, Davis led the American League in home runs for four consecutive seasons from 1904 through 1907.
He also helped establish the Athletics as one of the American League's early powerhouse teams.
Produced between 1909 and 1911, the T206 White Border series remains one of the most historically important baseball card sets ever issued.
The Piedmont 150 Subjects back represents one of the recognizable original tobacco advertising designs from the series.
An excellent addition to a vintage baseball collection, Philadelphia Athletics collection, or T206 set-building project.
